DEFORMITY CORRECTION - DECISION MAKING WITH A RATIONAL APPROACH

From the days of Nicolas Andry and before, the concern of correcting a deformity has not been lessened even today. The deformity may come in the form of Congenital or Acquired due to trauma, infection,t umour, neuro disorders etc. Everyday, an average Orthopaedic surgeon experiences the dilemma of taking the right decision in terms of timing and method to correct a deformity or whether a deformity needs to be corrected at all.

We propose a comprehensive, thought provoking CME for IOACON 2017 that is aimed at addressing the majority of such dilemma. We hope that the delegates attending the CME will return back wiser and confident!
